There are some things at BoxTop Software we don't take very seriously. Ask us about Y2K and you're likely to hear about absurd extremes of underground bunkers and survival weapons because it's funny to us how far the media hysteria has gone and OK to joke about since a pixel in 2000 will still be the same as a pixel in 1999. Graphics software, such as we make, doesn't use dates.
Privacy isn't a laughing matter, though. There is far too little of it in the world as it approaches the extremes of a cashless digital society, and we are a paranoid bunch about that. It frightens us, so we think it's a very good thing that the media is giving privacy issues the attention they deserve now.
This Web site asks you for information about yourself. Specifically it asks for an email address that you may be contacted at for the purpose of contacting you. No other information at all is requested or collected by any other means. We don't want or need to know any more.
Information about you will not be provided to any 3rd party. It won't be sold. It won't be given away. It also won't be tallied into any form of demographic statistics to be published in any way.
It, the email address you provide, may be used to contact you infrequently when software updates or new products become available. Addresses are added to our announcement mailing list, which has in the past had a frequency of about one mailing every three months, though it does vary.
It won't flood your mailbox, and you can unsubscribe any time, since it is a responsible marketing activity of a long established and respected software company, and not an "Ooh, baby call me now to feel my wet, hot love..." kinda thing. We hate those, too.
